October 4, evening (7:30 PM onward): Let?s mark the start of Durga Puja with heartfelt prayers and invoke the Goddess?s arrival. Followed by a cultural program and Mahisha Mardini. * Maha Sashti ? October 8, evening (6:30 PM onward): The festivities begin! Witness the unveiling of Maa Durga?s idol with traditional rituals, chants, and offerings. * Maha Saptami ? October 9, morning (9.00 AM onward): Maha Saptami Pujo. Evening (6:30 PM onward): The sacred rituals continue followed by prayers. * Maha Ashtami ? October 10, morning (9.00 AM onward): Maha Ashtami Pujo. Evening (6:30 PM onward): This is the heart of Durga Puja! Bangladesh Canada Hindu Cultural Society & Bangladesh Canada Hindu Mandir *BHOG:* For offering Bhog in Soptomi, Ostomi and/or Nobomi (Wednesday, October 09, 2024, Thursday, October 10, 2024 and Friday, October 11, 2024) you may contact in-person at our office /Donation desk during puja OR eTransfer the fee at bchm.finance@gmail.com in advance (latest within 11PM of previous day of the intended tithi) with security answer *Mandir*. The fee for Bhog is $40. *In eTransfer please don't forget to include your name(s), Gotra, tithi and contact no. in the message option*. Without this information we will not be able to offer your Bhog to Ma Durga. Please note, if you miss to collect the offered Bhog within *5PM*, it will be mixed with other prasadam and will be served to the devotees.
